Have an early breakfast to leave Nairobi at 7:00am. Head to Maasai Mara National Reserve,

driving through the scenic Rift Valley. You will have a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewing point for a short photo session. Drive further southwards arriving in Maasai Mara on time for lunch at Mara Ashnil Camp (or a lodge of your choice located inside Maasai Mara).

Spend the entire day exploring this world-famous game reserve and home of the Big Five, starting with an early morning game drive when the big cats are most active. Enjoy a bush breakfast under the shade of an Acacia Tree out in the wild (your lodge will pack a picnic basket with breakfast of your choice and/or lunch as requested). Witness the Great Wildebeest Migration and a once in a lifetime river crossing by spending time along the banks of the mighty Mara River.

This reserve is not only the most popular game reserve in the country, but also one of main reasons to visit Kenya. The reserve is set on a classic African savannah and the huge density of wildlife is astounding. Zebras, wildebeest and gazelles graze in large herds and where prey is in plenty so are the predators. The reserve covers an area of approximately 1510 sq km of open grassland. It is very common to see the big cats up close and personal (and if you are lucky – hunting) Hippos, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes also exist in large numbers. Return to the camp for overnight stay.

Rise up early for breakfast, check out and have your last game drive as you exit the park by 1000hrs. Head to Lake Nakuru. Should you be interested in visiting a Maasai village, you can do so just outside Maasai Mara before driving on to Lake Nakuru. You will arrive at Lake Nakuru National park in time for lunch at a lodge/camp of your choice. Relax and enjoy a game drive later in the park (from 1600hrs until sunset).  Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Enjoy an early breakfast and leave Lake Nakuru with a game drive en-route to Amboseli National Park, driving through the picturesque southern part of Kenya to arrive on time for lunch at a camp of choice. Relax at the camp after lunch and proceed for an evening game drive in the park. Amboseli National Park is situated against the backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain (Mount Kilimanjaro). It is famous for being one of the few places you can get close to free-roaming wild animals such as the big cats, large herds of elephants, zebras, gazelles and buffaloes. Return to your Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Spend the whole day in the park enjoying an early morning and late afternoon game drive in the park. You will have a chance to get a spectacular view of Mount Kilimanjaro during early morning hours or during sunset when the sky is clear. Arid as it looks, Amboseli has supported a diversity of wildlife together with the Maasai who grazed their animals across the park thanks to the waters that run off Mount Kilimanjaro. Get a chance to come up close with Kenya’s famous ‘Big Tuskers’ (iconic giants of the great savannah).

Picnic lunch will be served at the Observation Hill, alternatively you can have 2 game drives early morning and late afternoon instead of a full day game drive.

Return to the lodge after the evening game drive for dinner and overnight stay.

Enjoy an early morning game at sunrise to further explore Amboseli and hopefully catch some rare sightings. Later we will return to the camp for full breakfast and leave Amboseli National park for Emali town for a quick stopover and lunch. Later proceed to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at your residence.
